This afternoon during the Email Marketing Automation Summit '22 (EMAS) the winner of this year's 'Battle of the Agencies' was announced. We are proud to announce that the winner is our esteemed partner Happy Horizon!
Every year, three agencies compete in this prestigious battle. The battle is fought for the best result of a split test, organised by a leading player in the Dutch e-commerce landscape. This year, Airmiles came up with a great assignment: create an email that generates as many redeemed Airmiles points as possible with 4 possible redeemable offers.
After many submissions, Airmiles selected three agencies to participate in the final battle. Alongside Happy Horizon, was Yellowgrape and 100%EMAIL. The finalists came as no surprise, as earlier this year, these parties were also awarded CanopyDeploy Resell Partner Awards!
While all three participants had very different, yet extremely inspiring email campaigns, only one could go home with the prize. A striking aspect of Happy Horizon's approach was that they segmented on the basis of points so that recipients only received offers that were relevant to their points. This, combined with a flat design that draws you into the email with some clever tricks, resulted in the highest conversion rate!
