We’re proud to be digital screen partners to some of the world’s biggest brands, including Costa Coffee, who we’re supporting with a nationwide digital screen rollout covering both in-store and external signage.
This is a highly significant project for Costa Coffee, designed to dramatically enhance the customer experience through the introduction of fully localised, automated content to stores across the country.
Spanning just six weeks from scope to deployment at the first trial site, this project saw Team ITG create an entire hardware, CMS and scheduling strategy alongside brand-new bespoke content – all of which delivered a 50% saving compared to the project’s previous budget.
The success of our original trial has resulted in a national rollout that currently stands at 879 screens across 158 different stores, each with its own specially tailored screen set-up and localised content strategy.
From bespoke design concepts, to innovative engineering, installations and complete content strategy, we’ve been integral to the rollout, working alongside a number of Costa Coffee’s third-party suppliers to deliver on the brand’s requirements.
We’ve incorporated a wide range of innovations into the project, including tailored engineering for rotating digital menu boards (a first for Quick-Service Restaurants (QSR)), the design and build of unique housing to utilise indoor screens in an outdoor setting, ultra-slim dual-sided window displays and battery-powered outdoor A-board displays.
Alongside the technological enhancements, we also produced the bespoke creative content, automatically scheduled based on factors such as time of day and even the weather conditions. It all combines to ensure an even more personalised, relevant and visually engaging experience for Costa Coffee customers when they visit one of the brand’s locations.
