We enabled WW to achieve substantial cost savings by procuring items for their Wellness Wins loyalty programme.
WW has been a client of Team ITG since 2010 and our relationship has expanded significantly in the intervening years, now covering digital work, bespoke tech builds, strategic creative and events, amongst a host of other services.
Today, we provide these services not just to WW UK but also WW Europe, WW’s franchise in Ireland and adhoc support for their Global team in the US, including strategy reviews from Australia to South America and Canada. In addition, the brand onboarded our CanopyDeploy automated marketing technology earlier this year to manage personalised local marketing of their Workshops for around 1,200 field-based WW UK Coaches.
Across the first three years of our partnership alone, we saved WW over £3.5 million, and continue to deliver significant cost savings, including through recent work for their Wellness Wins global loyalty programme.
Launched in late 2018, Wellness Wins is a means of rewarding WW members for their healthy habits. Rewards range from experiential vouchers; gym passes and charity donations to electronic goods and a wide variety of other merchandising items.
While all Wellness Wins reward items were originally purchased by the central WW US team, Team ITG’s cost savings were so impressive that WW UK, France and Germany issued us with a £300k re-order for three of their best-selling electronic products (Bluetooth Headphones; Bluetooth Speakers and an LED Compact Mirror).
Working in conjunction with Team ITG’s Packaging and Procurement teams, our dedicated WW account team was able to source the electronic goods and ensure rigorous prototyping, CE certifications and final approval.
By taking responsibility of the procurement of these selected items, Team ITG was able to deliver a huge cost saving for WW, not to mention additional CE certification and sourcing eco-friendly packaging at no extra cost.
