Our multichannel content studio created impactful video content for one of PUMA’s football clubs, PSV Eindhoven.
Our journey with global fashion and sports brand PUMA began in 2012, and we now deliver campaigns across multiple PUMA teams, while managing marketing support directly with around 40 UK and Ireland-based football clubs for PUMA Teamwear. We create thousands of bespoke, brand-focused content pieces for them across all channels, while also acting as brand guardians, particularly for their local campaigns.
PUMA recently started an exciting project to produce the official kits of Dutch footballing giants PSV Eindhoven and were keen to find an original means of presenting the new designs to the public. While PUMA has historically used local agencies to produce video content, in this instance, our dedicated multichannel studio team stepped up to the plate.
Eindhoven itself has a reputation as a city of innovation, so we based our proposals around that central theme, ultimately deciding with the client to use a distinctive thunderstorm graphic. A collaboration in the truest sense, our teams developed PUMA’s initial ideas, and from largely static assets, we were able to create visually captivating content. In fact, almost every asset used in the video was artworked, retouched and animated by the Team ITG studio.
The initial brief was to create content to be displayed on the digital stairs at PSV’s official store in the city and innovative digital window, but both PUMA and the club were so impressed with our work that they asked us to reproduce it for use in the store’s LED window and on the Philips Stadium outdoor LED screen. We then updated the videos to include the away and third kits in preparation for launch.
This was a hugely important project that demonstrated to PUMA our extensive range of skills, including content creation, brand knowledge and the sheer versatility of our studio, with our teams working in tandem to deliver exactly what the client wanted.
